MEET OUR TEAM

We are a multidisciplinary team with a broad range of experience, both in industry and in practice. Our team contains qualified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Management Accountants and Tax Specialists.

Anthony

Managing Director
Anthony started his career in the catering sector, including spending a number of years as a qualified chef before going to University in his late twenties. After graduating with a degree in business administration, he studied towards becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts, where he is now a Fellow. He has worked for a number of companies in accounting, including Lloyds Bank for seven years before leaving to start the practice. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys flying holding both a glider pilots licence and a private pilots licence. He owns a share in a light aircraft.

Jes

Client Manager
Jes has been working in accounts for over five years. Before this, she worked in a number of roles, including in retail management. Initially starting with client bookkeeping and payroll, Jes has developed her skills and knowledge and is currently working toward full membership with AAT, having achieved level three status and working towards level four. Jes now looks after her own portfolio of clients in the company as a Client Manager. Jes has a young family with two children, and any spare time left is spent walking and horse-riding.

 Tom 

Client Manager
Tom joined us full time in January 2017 following work experience with us.  Prior to joining he completed a degree in finance and accounting at the University of the West of England and will soon be looking to start his professional accounting qualifications. Currently Tom looks after his own portfolio of clients in the company as a Client Manager, with a main focus on our self employed clients. Outside of work Tom is a computing enthusiast but also enjoys time way from the screen spending time with friends.

Jenna

Client Manager
Jenna has accumulated a considerable amount of experience working in a variety of finance departments for a number of years, qualifying as an accounting technician in 2009. More recently, Jenna has worked in the finance department of a local independent school. Looking to further develop her career, skills and experience, Jenna decided to move from industry into practice in early 2019. Jenna joined the practice in 2019 and has embarked on the journey to become a qualified accountant, with her first ACCA paper successfully completed. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dawn

Client Manager
Dawn qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1988 and worked for many years in industry as an auditor and a management accountant. After taking a career break, she resumed working in practice and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2017. Dawn joined the team in 2014 and she looks after a portfolio of clients as a Client Manager.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys running and playing badminton with her family.

George

Client Manager
George is the newest member of the team, having joined as a school leaver in September 2018.
He is currently studying towards his AAT exams as part of his apprenticeship.
Outside of work George enjoys spending time with friends and he is also a big football fan.

Sam 

Administration Support
Sam has a number of years experience working in financial roles, having previously spent time working in the accounts function in Tarmac Ltd and for Nat West Bank. Sam initially joined the practice in 2015 to provide secretarial support, but has since then provided significant administrative support, including helping with compliance and becoming our auto enrolment pension contact. Outside of work, Sam enjoys Zumba, spending time with her family and travel.

Terri 

Payroll Manager
Terri has a significant amount of practice experience, having worked in a number of different practices over time. Terri initially joined in an administrative capacity, but has taken on responsibility of a number of clients VAT returns, and having oversight of the payroll function within the practice. Terri is often the first point of contact in the practice, and always ready with a cheerful greeting! In her spare time, Terri enjoys watching films, reading, and travelling.

Sandra 

Company Bookkeeper 
Sandra has over thirty years experience working in a variety of financial roles, from payroll and bookkeeping through to accounts preparation. Sandra also has experience of running her own business, which she did whilst her four children were growing up to provide flexibility. Sandra was a client of the company for a number of years before becoming the company bookkeeper in 2016. In her spare time, Sandra likes walking, knitting, holidays and spending time with family and friends.

Paul

Company Courier Driver
Paul recently joined the team after retiring from a career in Civil Engineering. His role is to collect & deliver documents as required.
In his spare time he enjoys DIY, gardening, golf & spending time with his family.
